06/30/06 The start.
| Description | : | This is an old building on our property that served as a farm equipment storage shed from 1967 until 2006. It is 64x40 and is a pole/steel beam type construction. The metal siding was getting kind of ratty, the concrete floor inside was cracked badly and not even, the roof had a few leaks. I've been wanting to get a new shop built for the past few years, the space is desparately needed, as many of you who've been to my current shop know! Rather than put up a new building, I decided to refurbish this one, since it is structurally sound. Half of the inside of this building will be framed up into a shop and office. There will be an upstairs for storage. I can't wait until it is done! |
