The dyno made the long-awaited move today! Still owned by my parter in crime Rick McWaters of Cycle Tech, we thought a better place for it might be in my shop. (who was I to argue??) The room is about 90% finished, just some trim/paint work to do yet. My brother helped me horse that heavy Dynojet 250 off a flatbed trailer to its current resting spot. I hooked everything up and... it still works! I stuck a SV650 on it that I had recently tested at the old dyno location, and was happy to see exactly the same numbers as before. I plan to upgrade the software and monitor soon, plus I have a load cell for it so I can get "live" torque readings while using the eddy current load control.
